Gratitude

After a bad accident that left the right side of my face completely shattered (along with a dislocated collarbone) I suddenly found myself incredibly grateful to be alive.

This is where my journey with gratitude took a sharp turn in my life. During my healing, my day began before my feet even hit the floor. As my eyes fluttered open, I remember being so thankful for the fact that I could see out of both of them. (This was not a given for me at the time). I literally and figuratively was being given the gift of seeing another day EVERY SINGLE MORNING. Over the past 17 years I have nurtured my relationship with gratitude and embody it daily through practices and moments that I would love to share with you.

Gratitude has become a cornerstone in my life, and I firmly believe expressing it daily has raised my vibration and frequency more than any other single thing I have done.

GROWING UP IN A TINY VILLAGE NESTLED IN THE MOUNTAINS OF PENNSYLVANIA, I BEGAN FORMING SPIRITUAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE EARTH, ANIMALS, TREES AND SKY BEINGS AT A YOUNG AGE. ACKNOWLEDGING THE HEALING I FELT IN THEIR PRESENSE, I’VE CARRIED THIS WISDOM WITH ME THROUGHOUT MY LIFE.

WHAT MAKES ME…… WELL ME

  • I grew up in a tiny village in Pennsylvania that to this day still does not have a stop light

  • The closest “big town” to us was Punxsutawney (population 5747) yep, home of the famous weather forecasting groundhog, Punxsy Phil!

  • I moved to Ohio in 1997

  • So this morning I saw a fella dragging a clam on a leash behind him,,,,,I thought it must be hard to walk with a pulled mussel!! I LOVE PUNS!!!

  • My first tattoo (the moon card from a witches tarot deck) was at a party w/10 other people. Big Tony didn’t bat an eye when I had him stop about 10 seconds in so I could go puke in the bathroom!

  • I was 49 when Michelle and I got married under the stars in an intimate ceremony in 2018 (#latebloomer)

  • I am going to write a book about Fairies and my nieces and nephews are going to be the main characters (shhhhhhh, they don’t know this yet)

  • Pugs are my jam

  • Every time I go to a store that sells Betta Fish; I stop to give them all Reiki. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I hate that they are stuck in those tiny bowls. FYI, they do not like it one bit either.

  • I eat left-handed, but throw right-handed; use a hammer and scissors with my left hand, yet kick a ball with my right foot. Actually i can switch back and forth pretty easily.

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE to giggle.

  • Michelle and I have lovingly updated and restored our Aframe cabin in the woods ourselves (sans some electrical work). It is amazing when you get to clear away old energy and instill yours into the bones of your home. It quite literally is filled with magic and I hope to someday (soon) host intimate retreats there.
